Jill Bartelt is a writer, educator, traveler, and photographer. She has a BA in French and History from Augustana College (Rock Island, IL) and an MA in French Literature from the University of Iowa. The Trojan Peace: First Light and The Trojan Peace: Half-Light are her first two books. In late 2016, she established Calymene Press. Jill lives in rural Illinois with her husband, Marc Nelson, and their dog, Luke. Marc is an artist and teacher—he creates the cover art for Jill’s books (see his contributor page here). Luke is an adorable rescue dog who fills both their lives with humor, love, and joy.
